For one customer it can be SCRUM sprint result. For another, a software module developed for several months to match all the specifications.
Every customer should pay attention to the featuring of requirement requests and the implementation results. What has been requested, should be delivered.
Apart from the specifications, there are other things that need to be delivered as well. In case if the customer wants to extend the software in the future, following points should be addressed:
- Access to the source code
- Legal rights to the source code
- Licenses for external libraries used in the software
- Software documentation
- Deployment documentation
The customer should also check how the development team's [Definition of Done] looks like for the ordered functionalities.
